SUPPLY AIR LOUVER.
The supply air louver is located on the upper right front corner of
(See fig. 4-11.)
the unit.
Supply Air Louver
a. Removal.
Remove 6 screws and lock washers and pull louver
from the unit.
Clean.
b.
(1) Usually it is only necessary to wipe or brush dirt from
louver.
Dry cleaning solvent (Fed Spec P-D-680) used to clean
parts is potentially dangerous to personnel and
property. Do not use near open flame or excessive
heat.
Flash point of solvent is 100F to 138F (38C
to 59c).
(2) If louver is extremely dirty, immerse in a detergent
solution or dry cleaning solvent (Fed Spec P-D-680).
