HEATER
THERMOSTAT.-Continued
Heater Thermostat
Inspect/Test.
a.
(1)
Disconnect power at power source.
(2) Remove top front cover (para 4-11).
(3) Remove two screws and slip heater thermostat and bracket
forward.
(4) Inspect for cracks, loose connections, and obvious
damage.
Replace if defective.
(5) Remove two screws and lock washers and pull thermostat
from bracket.
(6) Tag and disconnect leads.
(7) Using a multimeter check continuity on terminals 1 and 2
of the thermostat.
Continuity should be indicated.
