7. UNIT WILL NOT DEFROST

Step 1.

Check if hot gas line shut off valve is closed.

Open valve.

Step 2.

Check for defective defrost timer.

Replace timer (para 4-31).

Step 3.

Check for broken or leaking refrigerant line.

Notify direct support maintenance.

Step 4.

Check for defective defrost relay.

Repair or replace (para 4-33).

Step 5.

Possible clogged refrigerant strainer.

Report to direct support maintenance.

1. REFRIGERATOR DOES NOT START

Step 1.

Check to see that refrigerator on-off switch is in on position.

Step 2.

Check if engine is out of fuel.

Fill fuel tank with proper fuel.

Step 3

Check battery for loose or disconnected cables.

Tighten or connect cables.

Step 4.

Check for weak or dead battery.

Recharge or replace (para 4-71).

Step 5.

Check to see if OVERCRANKING CIRCUIT BREAKER is tripped.

Reset (push in) circuit breaker. If circuit breaker continues to trip or will not reset. Check

engine or circuit breaker for defects (para 4-25).

Step 6.

Check gasoline strainer sediment bowl for dirt or visible contaminants.

Clean strainer.

Step 7.

Check for blown fuses.

Replace bad fuses (para 4-38).

Step 8.

Check fuel pump.

Repair or replace fuel pump (para 4-74).
