c. Assembly. (See figure 4-22).

(1) Slip the mode selector switch shaft through the panel hole and secure with mounting nut and washer

supplied with the switch.

Slip the knob on the mode selector switch shaft and tighten the set screw.

See the wiring diagram figure 4-5 and tags and connect wire leads. Remove the tags.

Align the holes in the back panel with the three posts and secure with screws.

(5) Check to be sure grommets are in place in the shaft holes. Install the two knobs and tighten the set

screws.

Slip the cover back in place and secure with four screws.

See paragraph 4-27c and figure 4-18 and install the control module.

Connect power at power source.

4-31. COMPRESSOR CIRCUIT BREAKER CB1

The compressor circuit breaker is located in the control module.

a. Removal.

Disconnect input power from the air conditioner before performing maintenance on any part of the

electrical system. The voltages used can be lethal.

(1) Disconnect power at power source.

(2) See paragraph 4-27a and figure 4-18 and remove the control module.
