CONDENSER AIR DISCHARGE LOUVER AND LINKAGE.-Continued
(3) Louver and linkage assembly installation.
Install push-pull control cable assembly using
q
attaching hardware.
Slide louver assembly into unit and secure with four
q
screws, lock washers, and two snap fasteners.
Insert push-pull control cable wire end through
q
mechanical post.
Close louvers and pull control cable wire tight with
q
needle nose pliers and tighten mechanical post screw.
Install condenser air inlet guard.
(See para 4-12.)

Reinstall top rear cover (para 4-11).
q
Connect power at power source.
q
FRESH AIR DAMPER AND ACTUATOR.
The wheel type actuator plate located on the upper right front of

the unit controls the internal fresh air damper.

and down to open.
Clean/Inspect.
a.
(1) Disconnect power at power source.
(2) Remove top covers (para 4-11), supply air louver (para 4-
13), and return air louver (para 4-14).
(3) Wipe loose dirt from controls and linkages with a clean
cloth.
(4) Check push-pull control cable for operation by turning
actuator plate wheel.
(5) Check that damper arm moves when actuator plate is
turned.
b.
Removal.
(1) Loosen screw on mechanical post and disconnect push-pull
control cable.
