TROUBLESHOOTING
MALFUNCTION/SYMPTOM
PROCEDURE
Compressor Will Not Start
1.
High or low pressure cut-out switch may have an open contact.
2.
Possible loose electrical connections or faulty wiring.
3.
Control circuit may have an open circuit.
4.
Transformer winding may be faulty.
5.
Time delay device may be faulty.
6.
Faulty compressor contactor contacts or coil.
7.
Damage of mode selector switch.
NOTE
If fault is not found, notify Direct Support maintenance.
Evaporator/Condenser Fan Motor Fails to Operate
1.
Faulty fan motor or bad start capacitor.
2.
Evaporator/condenser fan or motor binding.
3.
Poor continuity of wiring or terminals.
4.
Bad fan motor relay contacts or coil.
5.
Damage of mode selector rotary switch.
