( 3 ) R e p l a c e . R e p l a c e the transformer if damaged to the extent that

serviceability would be impaired or if any failure occurs during testing. Refer to

steps (4) and (5) for removal of defective transformer and the installation of a new

transformer.

Terminal Boards TB1 and TB2

WARNING

Disconnect the air conditioner from the

e l e c t r i c a l power source before attempt-

ing to perform the following procedures

on the terminal boards.

Inspection.

( a ) Turn selector switch to "OFF'" position and disconnect the air

from electrical power source.

( b ) L o o s e n a t t a c h i n g screws and r e m o v e lower access panel.

( c ) R e m o v e a t t a c h i n g screws and washers and remove, junction box

cover.

( d ) I n s p e c t t e r m i n a l boards TB1 and TB2 for damage which would im-

pair

serviceability.

( 2 ) R e p l a c e . R e p l a c e terminal board T B 1 and/or TB2 if there is any

d a m a g e which would impair serviceability. Refer to steps (3) and (4) for removal and

installation of terminal boards.

(3) Removal.

( a ) R e f e r t o f i g u r e 3 - 1 2 a n d remove junction box from unit.

( b ) R e f e r t o f i g u r e 3 - 1 5 a n d remove bracket from junction box.
