19. After all the proper settings are entered, move the main power (RS) switch to DOWN.
20. Disconnect battery negative (-) terminal (WP 0053, Disconnect).
21. Position panel (Figure 17, Item 4) in place on EMI box and install EMI gasket (Figure 17, Item 6) between panel
and EMI box (Figure 14, Item 5).
22. Install 16 washers (Figure 17, Item 2), screws (Figure 17, Item 1), and ground wire (Figure 17, Item 3) to secure
panel (Figure 17, Item 4).
23. Close MPC box cover (Figure 3, Item 2) and tighten two screws (Figure 3, Item 1).
24. Swing chart recorder in and install pin.
25. Reconnect battery negative (-) terminal (WP 0053, Connect).
26. Operate unit in accordance with normal operating procedures to verify proper operation after replacement of
27. Place MTRCS back into desired mode of operation (TM 10-8415-222-10, Operating Procedures).
