7. Use contact removal tool to remove each contact (Figure 1, Item 9) from pin spacer assembly (Figure 1,
Item 8). Remove contact by placing on pin and applying light pressure to release the pin.
8. Cut each wire (Figure 1, Item 11) as close to rear of contact (Figure 1, Item 9) as possible.
9. Remove contacts (Figure 1, Item 9).
10. Strip approximately 3/8-inch to 1/2-inch insulation from each wire (Figure 1, Item 11).
