REPAIR CONTINUED
Replace Fuse
1. Pull fuse holder (Figure 5, Item 1) up out of socket (Figure 5, Item 2) and open door (Figure 5, Item 3).
2. Remove fuse (Figure 5, Item 4) from door (Figure 5, Item 3) and verify amperage on fuse.
3. Install new fuse (Figure 5, Item 4) into door (Figure 5, Item 3).
4. Close door (Figure 5, Item 3) and push fuse holder (Figure 5, Item 1) back into socket (Figure 5, Item 2).
5. Reconnect battery negative (-) terminal (WP 0053, Connect).
6. Operate unit in accordance with normal operating procedures to verify proper operation after replacement of
fuse (TM 10-8415-222-10, Operating Procedures).
7. Place MTRCS back into desired mode of operation (TM 10-8415-222-10, Operating Procedures).
Replace Resistor
1. Tag and cut wiring (Figure 5, Item 5) from resistor (Figure 5, Item 6).
2. Remove two washers (Figure 5, Item 7) and two screws (Figure 5, Item 8) securing resistor (Figure 5, Item 6) to
MPC box.
3. Install new resistor (Figure 5, Item 6) and secure to MPC box using two screws (Figure 5, Item 8) and two
washers (Figure 5, Item 7).
4. Solder wiring (Figure 5, Item 5) to resistor (Figure 5, Item 6) as tagged.
5. Reconnect battery negative (-) terminal (WP 0053, Connect).
6. Operate unit in accordance with normal operating procedures to verify proper operation after replacement of
resistor (TM 10-8415-222-10, Operating Procedures).
7. Place MTRCS back into desired mode of operation (TM 10-8415-222-10, Operating Procedures).
