8. Carefully align piping (Figure 3, Item 2) with 1/4-inch check valve (Figure 3, Item 3).
9. Slide flare nut (Figure 3, Item 1) over piping (Figure 3, Item 2) and connect to 1/4-inch check valve (Figure 3,
Item 3).
10. Tighten flare nut (Figure 3, Item 1).
11. Perform refrigerant leak check (WP 0014, Service).
12. Perform evacuation and dehydration (WP 0014, Service).
13. Charge system with refrigerant (WP 0014, Service).
14. Install left-side panel (WP 0013, Install).
15. Install front panel assembly (WP 0013, Install).
16. Reconnect battery (WP 0053, Reconnect).
17. Operate refrigeration unit to verify refrigeration cycles are operational after check valve replacement (TM 10-
8415-222-10, Operating Procedures).
18. Place MTRCS back into desired mode of operation (TM 10-8415-222-10, Operating Procedures).
