WARNING
Falling from the top of the MTRCS can result in serious injury or death to personnel.
Whenever performing maintenance on top of the MTRCS, always maintain three
points of contact to aid in stability. Never attempt to walk backwards while on top of
the container.
5. Gain access to top of MTRCS using roof access.
6. Make sure emergency stop switch (Figure 2, Item 1) is in PUSH TO STOP position.

8. Remove spring (Figure 3, Item 1) from engine speed lever (Figure 3, Item 6) and bracket (Figure 3, Item 12).
9. Disconnect electrical connector (Figure 3, Item 3) from speed solenoid (Figure 3, Item 4).
10. Pry clip (Figure 3, Item 5) from rod (Figure 3, Item 2) and remove rod (Figure 3, Item 2) from solenoid (Figure 3,
Item 4).
11. Remove rod (Figure 3, Item 2) from engine speed lever (Figure 3, Item 6).
